From humble beginnings in Houston, Texas to his family heritage in St. Martinville, Louisiana, Owner/Operator Desmond Lee (aka Kid Kreole) has always been passionate about cooking and creating an enjoyable experience. While many have appreciated his years of cooking, many are unaware that it all started with Desmond cooking his first fried turkey at Southern University as a student in Baton Rouge, LA.
With the support of his father and a host of talented relatives, Kid Kreole Kooking was formally established as a mobile catering service in 2013. Since then, Kid Kreole Kooking has gained a reputation for serving good ‘ole Kajun food for social gatherings, festivals and corporate functions. When clients see the logo on the van or trailer, they recognize it for Kid Kreole Kooking's Kajun Fried Turkeys, Fish Frys, Krawfish Boils…and the welcoming experience created by Kid Kreole and his family.
Starting October 2018, the logo has a new place to call home in Humble, Texas as Kid Kreole Kooking will be expanding its operations and introducing a family-friendly eatery proudly serving Kajun Kuisine daily in June 2019.
